Initial Electronic Advice is an automatic web-based system which provides brief legal information in response to straightforward legal queries. It is designed to assist not-for-profit organisations and individuals who cannot afford to pay for solicitors privately.

Questions may ONLY be submitted by not for profit organisations and advice agencies providing advice to the general public.

If you are a not for profit organisation or an advice agency who wishes to register to use the IEA system please click ‘Register’ to your left. Once you have registered your interest, we will contact you to confirm your registration to use the system.

If you are NOT registering on behalf of a not for profit organisation or advice agency then we will not respond to your request.

Who are LawWorks?

LawWorks is an independent charity and is the working name of the Solicitor’s Pro Bono Group. The charity exists to encourage and support solicitors to carry out pro bono work to support individuals and communities who are unable to afford legal support.
